Come and join our evolving Research team here in Macclesfield. We are a small team with big ambitions.
We provide a friendly working atmosphere whilst delivering high quality NIHR research in chronic conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, cardiology, and cardiovascular disease as well as paediatrics, oncology, surgery and COVID -19.
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic team player, who has an interest in research, a flexible attitude to working and an organised, professional manner.
You need to be able to work well under pressure and manage your own workload effectively in a busy environment.
The right candidate will be required to work as part of a team as well as being able to use their initiative and prioritise their workload to meet deadlines.
Candidates will have proven experience within a clinical trials or an office environment. In addition you will have excellent communication, administrative and IT skills and be supportive and open to new initiatives.
30 hours per week permanent
7.5 hours per fixed term
The post holder will administer research study notifications and record keeping procedures, under the supervision of the Lead Clinical Research Nurse and Head of Clinical Governance.
This entails maintaining records of research governance reporting and compliance, such as Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and documentation submitted / issued with the Research Passport system; Maintaining archiving record management systems and continuing to track, register and trace accordingly; Supporting with study amendments laid out by the Health Research Authority (HRA) whilst updating the Local Management Portfolio System (R-Peak) and supporting with general office administration and finance duties.
