To provide administrative and clerical activities in order to meet the needs of the Admin & Rota Team within Acute Medicine, in accordance with Departmental, Trust and National standards whilst providing administrative support.
1. To source cover for Doctor vacant shifts in circumstances of sickness, escalating issues to the Rota Coordinator as they arise.
2. Act as the first point of contact for dealing with routine enquiries, taking action as necessary liaising with others as appropriate.
3. Communicate with staff, and/or external organisations using appropriate methods.
4. Liaising with TSS in order to fill vacant shifts whilst utilising the TempRE system.
5. Maintain an efficient and comprehensive administrative service, including photocopying, providing support to the departments and other team members as requested.

6. Utilise relevant Trust IT systems, as determined by the role, ensure all relevant patient data is collected and input accurately in line with Trust guidelines. This will include EPR, to monitor the number of incomplete discharge summaries and results monitoring.
7. Provide appropriate cover in the absence of other members of the team.
8. To undertake any other duties of a similar nature consistent with the responsibilities of the post in order to provide a quality service.
9. To support the management of any enquiries relating to Acute rotas ensuring that they are dealt with and responded to in a timely manner.
10. Share ideas for potential service improvement.
11. To assist with the collation of the Daily and weekend plans.
