Part time – 3 days per week Wednesday to Friday
Hawthorn Primary School is currently looking for a part-time EYFS teacher to join their team from the Spring Term 2025 (1st January 2025) You will be passionate about teaching, committed to ensuring each pupil achieves their potential, with high standards of both yourself, your pupils and your colleagues. A strong knowledge of EYFS, its curriculum and the teaching of early reading and maths is key.
What we are looking for in applicants is:
- An excellent EYFS classroom practitioner
- Good classroom behaviour management and assessment skills
- The ability to engage and enthuse pupils having a creative way to approaching lessons within a Reception / primary setting
- Excellent planning and preparation that meets the needs of all pupils
- Good communication skills and works well as a team
- Knowledge of birth-5 matters guidance
- Knowledge of RWI and its implementation in EYFS
- Leading Phonics across the school
