An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit 3 highly motivated people t o join our Phlebotomy team to provide an effective and efficient service to patients in a ‘call centre’ environment.
The successful applicant will have significant administration experience within a customer focussed environment with IT skills in Excel and Word.
The overriding purpose is to support the provision of the highest quality patient care through
personal actions and continuous improvement
To provide a ‘call centre’ environment for patients calling to make outpatient appointments.
To maintain a high standard of quality in providing an appointments service; supporting patients and professionals, and the Trust in achieving their goals and in particular outpatient
waiting times.
To produce high quality patient information for the Trust to enable maximum use of resources, and to support service level agreements and planning of future services.
To ensure that patients receive good quality, appropriate documentation/information relating to
their appointment

The Phlebotomy team cover inpatients (PRH/RSH only) and outpatients at all 4 sites, providing a service for both GP's and consultants.
